Mikala Smith is passionate about equipping others with the power of prayer and intercession. She is involved in prayer ministry within her church and other ministries: Resurgence, street ministry, First Nations and local, national and international missions, etc. Her mother was a prayer warrior and intercessor. She still remembers after her mother’s death, her request of, “teach my children how to pray!” and throughout the years Mikala has grown to know the importance of prayer in her own life and the tangible impact on others she prays for. Originally from a small community in the Northern Alberta countryside, Mikala has made Edmonton, Alberta, Canada her home for fifteen years where she is a teacher by profession and entrepreneur. |
