Current Charity: Canadian Mental Health Association
10% of the proceeds will be donated to the charity of choice to help support men.  The current charity is Canadian Mental Health Association.

I chose to highlight CMHA-Edmonton as the current charity of choice considering the rise in suicide, depression and anxiety in men particularly in my home province of Alberta, Canada in correlation to the many job loses and feelings of hopelessness felt amongst several of our men over the past years effecting all areas of society including the family unit.

CMHA-Edmonton helps with:
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Family Violence
  • Community Resource Referral
  • Amongst Much More...

now if you or someone you know is in crisis: contemplating suicide, feeling overwhelmed, or experiencing abuse.

Home of Hope

A huge thank you to everyone purchasing my book, 'Women Pray For Men'.  Because of your support I was able to take part of the proceeds and donate it for a microloan through Home of Hope.  I am very passionate about the microloan project.  As the anonymous proverb goes, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime". When we empower mothers to become self -sufficient we are indirectly helping their sons (daughters too).

A New Roof for New Destiny Church

Another shout out of appreciation to everyone buying my book, 'Women Pray For Men'!  Some of the proceeds have been donated towards a new roof for the 1905 church, New Destiny, which is located in downtown Edmonton.  They serve many men (and women) through the Street Level Outreach Program that I volunteer with.
